Rob Geen is heading efforts at the Annie E. Casey Foundation (AECF) to monitor state implementation of the federal Fostering Connections Act and to provide leadership to the states in addressing provisions of the act. Prior to joining AECF, Rob was the Vice-President for Public Policy and Director of the Child Welfare Program at child Trends, a non-partisan policy research organization in Washington DC. As a Visiting Fellow with the House of Representatives, Rob was involved with the development of the Fostering Connections Act. Rob will discuss the provisions of the federal law, provide an overview of how states are addressing its implementation and discuss next steps for New Jersey.
