This On The Issue lunchtime discussion series is made possible by a generous gift from

Mary Lee Allen heads CDF’s agenda to keep children safe in nurturing families and communities. She is a highly respected advocate on the state and national level, involved in state-level reform efforts and federal developments. Mary Lee is part of a coalition of national child welfare organizations that is examining federal finance reform to focus federal and state financing systems on the safety, permanency and well-being of children. She will discuss why child welfare financing reforms are needed, describe possible options for financing reform and what advocates can do to advance the issue on the state and federal levels.
